The unknowns are how quickly you will maximise the benefits of the customer focused networking and sales techniques training we will have given you. This timeframe will also obviously depend on how successful your opening advertising launch was, as you aggressively build customer awareness in your own exclusive territory and your determination to pinch market share away from existing mobile food operators if any, in your area.
As we have already pointed out, you will need to actively and persistently market yourself to all potential customers and these methods would have already been identified for you during your initial intensive training. Of course that training and management and marketing help is ongoing and we will be there to further help you when we follow up on that initial training after you have launched and new customers are generated.
We believe you should budget and initially target for a 5% market share of all households and businesses within your exclusive franchised territory.
However we can't impress the reality of the FACTS of the matter too often that you need to understand, right now that your ultimate success will greatly depend on your own steely determination (pardon the pun) and your own efforts in applying our training in customer service skills to build up repeat customers. Our task will be to continually develop and improve our business system so you can continue to develop your existing and growing happy customer base!
At the end of the day any franchisor can only provide you with the “tools of success” and it is really up to you to ensure you maximise them. We WILL be YOUR leader, yes we readily admit it's a ‘self appointed role' and we will also be your business mentor and hopefully friend in providing you with a flow of good and consistent overall guidance to help you achieve your business growth and profit goals.
We want to start this franchise relationship with you, which we hope will be the outcome of your own investigations of our offer, with 100% creditability and keep it as close to that starting point as possible throughout our intended 10 year contractual relationship.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Please, do that mirror check we spoke about? Next, have a serious family meeting (pow wow) to discuss your intentions of going into business and in particular this type of specialty food business. Talk to your bank manager about your finances and borrowing capacity. Definitely do some preliminary market research in the geographical area you are considering operating in. Start writing down questions for our meeting. Come and see us with your partner/spouse for a more detailed operational discussion including of course the burning question in our minds which is, WHEN you would like to get started.
