An Exclusive Territory

 

We will give you an exclusive territory defined by size and post codes or council boundaries or even STD Telephone codes, however in all cases your territory will contain a minimum of 30,000 households plus of course all those businesses, both big or small which reside within that specific geographical area. That means you can actively and with total confidence, prospect for business within that area however, potential customers living within the area can buy from who ever they like wherever they like. You have to win their business by offering great Service, at the right price, right under their nose!

 

A Long Term

 

We offer you an initial term of 5 years with an additional 5 year option at no further renewal fee to you should you exercise your rights.

This means the franchise rights are yours to use commercially for at least a defined period of 10 years given you are in full compliance of the franchise agreement, and we expect you to maximise your profit and sales opportunities within that timeframe.

 

An Initial Training Period

 

We provide an intensive two (2) weeks “hands on” training program covering all aspect of running your own business.

You will spend time with us doing it all in our company territory in Wodonga. Therefore be aware you will need to allow for the extra costs of accommodation and travel.

This “hands on” training will be very thorough as we must both be comfortable that you can handle all aspects of managing, marketing and all selling aspects of the business and fully understand all the food products, and our pricing systems and the overall administration and reporting procedures before you start your business, in your exclusive territory.

 

The training period may have to be extended for particular franchisees if they need extra help and we would insist your initial support staff, and perhaps your spouse if applicable, will also attend some aspects of this overall induction and key training program. We will of course assist any new franchisee on finding and training when that is necessary, and will provide to your employees and you all ongoing training as required.

 

Ongoing Training and Meetings

 

Our area supervisor will be spending time with each franchisee in their own exclusive territories and they will be coordinating regular meetings of franchisees where proven history of professional franchising practices has shown this lateral sharing of information by the group is also a very powerful resource for ALL of us to share. We also believe at the same time, our hand chosen franchisees will enjoy each others personal company. (It should be very much an extended happy family)

 

Our Ongoing Management Fee

 

You will pay us a weekly management fee of 10% plus GST of your gross sales thereby ensuring we both have a very real and tangible vested interest in your growing sales performance.

 

This regular management income to us means we have the financial resources and vested interest to work vigorously for all our franchisees in both mentoring and managing and negotiating the best possible buying deals from all approved suppliers. Our job is to be there for you when you need marketing, management or technical help. After all it's true, you are the customer!

We will expect you to challenge us to provide value for this management fee and we know our commitment to build a professional franchise network depends on keeping you “ happy ” as often as humanly possible.

 

Advertising

 

This is perhaps the most contentious area in franchising and knowing that we have split the 5% plus GST of your weekly gross sales into two advertising components. We want you to have a direct 50% say in how you spend your local advertising dollars in your own exclusive territory.

I.e. You pay 2.5% of your weekly sales into the National Advertising Fund we will exclusively manage but the other 2.5% of your weekly sales is spent directly by you in your own exclusive territory in ways you feel will benefit you the most.

 

Our Training Guarantee .

We offer you our unique money back guarantee which means, if for any reason, you decide while you are doing your formal Two weeks initial training program you don't want to continue and feel you have made a mistake in wanting to be part of our franchise FAMILY we will refund 90% of the initial franchise fee you paid us before you commenced that training.

 

This means we both need to be as sure as we can be at the outset of our franchise discussions you are ready, capable to absorb new knowledge and realistic and you and your family are very determined to make a success of your chosen new life style.

 

We understand from the specialist franchise experts who have helped us each step of the way down our chosen franchise path, i.e., Garry Williamson of The Franchise Centre, that this offer of a refund during training is simply not practiced by the vast majority of the 1500 franchisors his specialist franchise advisory firm has knowledge of.
